Keystone Building Solutions was engaged by the owners corporation to investigate and rectify several water ingress issues pertaining to the roof and top three levels of the complex.

Keystone carried out the successful removal and recoating of the rooftop membrane using Sikalastic 400N as this membrane system is UV stable and has a 320% elongation at break after 7 days.

The balconies to multiple units and penthouse suites on the top floor also underwent works with the removal of tiles, screed, membrane and glazing. Following the demolition of the balconies. Cracks in the concrete were repaired and slabs covered with the Ardex Butynol sheet membrane system followed by an additional waterproofing system of Ardex WPM300 over the screed. The supply and installation of new terrain suitable glazing with sub sills were installed to ensure the residents do not experience future water ingress issues and to sustain their investment in the building.
